- Reduced rate (e.g. fuel, building services, hotel accommodation): 13.5%
- Second reduced rate (e.g. restaurant food and catering from 1 July 2026, newspapers): 9%
- Livestock rate: 4.8%
- Zero rate (e.g. most food, children's clothes): 0%
Register when turnover exceeds €85,000 for goods (at least 90% of turnover) or €42,500 for services.
